It’s May 27 2015 but already two candidates have filed for the 2016 Oakland City Council Race: Lynette Gibson McElhaney for District Three and Treva Reid for District Seven.
In Treva’s case it’s obvious now that she is running to replace her legendary father Larry Reid.
