Detroit Lions 22, Atlanta Falcons 21 as The Falcons blow a big lead in London.
In a game that could cost Falcons Head Coach Mike Smith his job, Atlanta was over The Lions 21 to 0 by halftime. Detroit stormed back to win, aided by a boneheaded interception thrown by Falcons QB Matt Ryan.
There was no Falcon around to catch Ryan’s crossfield throw. But Lions CB Cassius Vaughn was there and he brought the ball back 45 yards to nearly score.
The Falcons loss was the biggest blown lead in team history.
