Twitter is down as of 9:05 AM Pacific Daylight Time. This was confirmed at the Twitter Status Webpage with this note:
Users may be experiencing issues accessing Twitter. Our engineers are currently working to resolve the issue.
So if you’re experiencing a slowly spinning refresh circle, it’s not your Internet connection, it’s Twitter. I don’t know why it’s down, but I’ll keep working to find out what happened.
