Alshon Jeffery, WR, NFL Draft 2012 Sleeper

Alshon Jeffery is the top NFL Draft 2012 and junior wide receiver from the University of South Carolina who, as you can see from this video, can catch a fly out of the sky with one quick motion. What I like is that he goes up, gets the pass, comes down with it, and gets yards after the catch.

But guess why his stock is falling? Some photo running around the Internet of Jeffery with a slight pot belly, and a fight he got into with a Nebraska defender that he, Alshon, did not start.

Stupid. Not so much what he did, as that and the photo being the reason for his downgrade. That’s why I say, even though I’m not high on players leaving college early, Alshon Jeffery will be the sleeper on the NFL Draft. Here are his numbers from 2011: 49 rec, 762 yards, 8 touchdowns and 183 catches for 3,042 yards, and 23 touchdowns for his college years.

Oh…
