Oscar Sunday started with my friend Eva picking me up at my hotel, the Resident’s Inn By Marriott (which has a great combination of price, room size, and service) and driving us to The Red Carpet for the 85th Academy Awards. What a fun, frenetic time, and because we had to get as much content made as we could (photos, videos, tweets), within an hour window of time. Overall, I’d say we did pretty well.

We had to leave at 11 AM, which was perfect for grabbing a cup of coffee, walking back to the car, heading to her place so she could change clothes, leaving, and getting locked out. Yep. Poor thing left her keys in the apartment.

After a moment of thought, we went around to the back, where she said she could get in via the back window. I was willing to pick her up and put her on the garbage bin to climb in, but Eva was afraid it would fall down – so she came up with the idea of making a kind of stair of the bins. She climbed up and went in. Got her keys.

All of that took about five minutes – no panic.

So, we went and arrived at the Beverly Hills Hotel for a great brunch and then met up with Stephanie Thorpe for the event!

A great Sunday!
