David Cameron, Rebekah Brooks, Peter Cruddas. Is Britain On The Take?

First we have News Corporation exec Rebekah Brooks twice arrested on allegations that she paid police officers and public officials for information, and as the News of the World editor, was an alleged central figure in the phone hacking scandal. Now, we have Conservative Party Treasurer, er, now-former man, Peter Cruddas, saying that $250,000 would buy access to British Prime Minister David Cameron.

What the hell? It’s said that where there’s smoke, there’s fire, and it looks like the whole of the UK is smoldering about now. Is all of Britain on the take?
