David Letterman was nice to Olympic Skier Lindsey Vonn.
In the great tradition of female guests on the show (most notably Jennifer Aniston, Eva Longoria, and Jessica Alba) Lindsey Vonn came on the The Late Show With David Letterman and made an obvious attempt to show her legs. And I mean even to the point of holding up her skirt and pushing it back to make sure you got an eye full of her thighs.
Soon-to-be-ex-husband Thomas Vonn had to be busting a gut somewhere in the World.
It was clear Ms. Vonn had the eye-candy role down pat, as she did the ski teacher role, explaining the difference between all of the slalom runs she’s mastered over the years. But what was strange about the entire almost 10 minutes of talk, is that not once was her divorce or her relationship with Tim Tebow and Robby Tebow, or even her date with 16-year-old Parker MacDonald ever mentioned.
On top of that, Letterman didn’t press the personal questions. That’s far different than the way he treated Paris Hilton after her 23-day-stay in jail for DUI. Letterman just plain pissed off Paris by wanting to talk about the issue – and he should have in her case. In Lindsey’s case she did not need the ‘life saving talk’ but Paris did.
It seems that Lindsey Vonn and her PR people are trying to do is flood the internet with news that clears out her personal life stuff. But even with this, it’s mentioned, and “lindsey vonn divorce” is still a hot search term. So, try as she might, there’s no escape.
But perhaps another reason for the silence on the personal stuff is she’s going to have to deal with all of it in court once her divorce talks start up, assuming it takes that much effort.
Then here’s another but that confuses things …why did she tell TMZ she wasn’t opposed to dating Tim Tebow, but it didn’t happen, rather than say ‘I’m not taking any more questions about that.” And where was she standing at the time in NYC? Where ever it was, Lindsey said she was, indeed, single (and I guess ready to mingle.)
Stay tuned.
