President Obama
President Obama is in New York State on his college affordability tour – I’m not with him, but thanks to constant White House updates, it feels that way. During this Friday morning in Auburn, NY, The President made time to visit a gym before heading off to a school, and eventually to his afternoon town hall meeting. First, here’s a look at his schedule for today:

12:45PM THE PRESIDENT participates in a town hall

Binghamton University, Binghamton, NY

4:40PM THE PRESIDENT and THE VICE PRESIDENT deliver remarks on college affordability

Lackawanna College, Scranton, PA

5:50PM THE PRESIDENT departs Scranton, Pennsylvania

Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport, Avoca, Pennsylvania

6:50PM THE PRESIDENT arrives Joint Base Andrews

7:05PM THE PRESIDENT arrives the White House South Lawn

Second, here’s what President Obama’s doing as of this writing:

The motorcade made its way through Skaneateles, where residents lined the streets snapping photos. During the drive through town, the bus passed by a scenic view of Skaneateles Lake, one of the Finger Lakes in central New York.

From there, the motorcade continued along an empty, winding roads before arriving at Tully Junior-Senior High School (grades 7-12) in Tully, NY, home of the Black Knights. There, President Obama posed for pictures and chatted with the boys’ and girls’ soccer teams. There are players from the following teams: girls JV soccer, girls Varsity soccer and boys Varsity soccer. They gladly paused practice to talk with President Obama.

Stay tuned.
