FRANKFURT—Karl Albrecht, a founder of discount supermarket chain Aldi and one of Germany’s wealthiest men, has died at age 94. His company, Aldi Süd, said Mr. Albrecht died last Wednesday. Forbes magazine has estimated his fortune at $25.9 billion.
