333246306_640I Oldies Music Store for 80’s Oldies Nostalgia? Yes!

Interest in 80’s Oldies Nostalgia is just plain out of control. From the release and resurrection of TRON, to what’s was basically a remake of Thief with James Caan in the form of Drive with Ryan Gosling, to TV shows like Seinfeld, to demand for music from The Go-Gos, Missing Persons (“Nobody walks in LA”), to the ABC show The Goldberg’s, the 80s is hotter than ever in 21st Century pop-culture.

The question is where do you go to get hard-to-find 80s music? Well, I happened to locate a website that specializes in just that: “I Oldies Music Store” at http://www.ioldies.com/

I’m happy to report that I Oldies Music Store at http://www.ioldies.com/ really does feature 80s music, from Frank Sinatra to music from TV shows like Seinfeld. There are hundreds of titles, and you can order what you find right there.

What I like the best is that if I Oldies Music Store can’t find what you want, they don’t sit on the order – you’ll get your money back.

But the question is why is the 80s so popular in pop-culture today?

The simple first answer is demographics. The last group of Baby Boomers, those born in the early 1960s, are now in key positions in American business, and people who would consume what they produce are the main breadwinners in the USA: supply meets demand.

But it’s more than just that.

You can blame digital media for slamming all past years before its advent together, and giving fuel for adults who were in college then fuel for the 80s, as well as the ability to influence their children on the pop-culture of their era.
