Jason Collins’ admission that he’s gay set off a chain reaction of events, including the sudden stardom of his ex-Fiancee, Ms. Moos.
While not mentioning Carolyn Moos by name in his Sports Illustrated article may have delayed the process of the rise of her stardom, it was only by a few days. As the Google chart below shows, Carolyn Moos went from zero search intensity to 100:
That’s A-list territory. But to put things in perspective, as of this writing, Moos is no way near as flaming as Amanda Bynes, who still towers over Moos in search intensity by 66 to Moos’ 28:

Still, Moos has more than a food in the door of celebrity, thanks to Jason Collins in a very weird way.
