“Captain America: The First Avenger” Theme: Hollywood in Vienna 2011

The theme for Captain America: The First Avenger is considered to be one of the best scores ever made for a super-hero or science fiction movie. It was composed by Alan Silvestry, who said that the character itself called for the fanfare present in the music. Also, Captain America Director Joe Johnston had said he wanted a theme to tie together the movie as it progressed.
