If YouTube wants to be the dominant player in providing livestream service over USTREAM.tv, it’s got to get its act together with respect to embedding its livestream video – something that USTREAM.tv has down.

UPDATE: You have to select the embed option that is not https for the embed to work.

I experienced the YouTube livestream problem just moments ago, while making a blog post about Le Web London, the tech confab underway now. This livestream code below didn’t work – I’m about to post it, so if it works, awesome, but if not, the problem is still with us:

Hopefully YouTube works out the issue so the code is 100 percent reliable, 100 percent of the time.
