Stanford Quarterback Andrew Luck had an outstanding Pro Day down on The Farm, as he threw 50 passes, completing 46 of them and in conditions that were less than perfect, to say the least.

But the windy San Francisco Bay Area day didn’t stop Luck from uncorking this 70-yard bomb…

And even though it was dropped (I could have caught that pass), it wasn’t Luck’s fault – the throw was perfect.

The difference between Luck and RG3 is a matter of style, but also NFL offense DNA: Luck has played in a more conventional pro-style system. You can almost “plug-and-play” Andrew Luck. Robert Griffin was in a spread system, so he needs more training, but will perform just as well as Luck after that period of teaching, which will not take a long time.

Will the Colts take Luck Number One at the 2012 NFL Draft – still looks like it.

Stay tuned.
