CRANSTON, R.I. (WPRI) — It was a Super Bowl Sunday that Woonsocket running back Emmanuel Gomes won’t soon forget. Gomes earned MVP honors in the Villa Novan’s 37-13 win over East Greenwich and he did it with his mother watching from above.
