Michael Vick Concussion, Falcons Beat Eagles 35 – 31

The Atlanta Falcons braced themselves for the much anticipated return of Michael Vick (now with the Philadephia Eagles) to the Georgia Dome, where he started his NFL career, and came out with a win. But Vick didn’t finish the game, knocked out with what was later said to be a concussion.

The Vick injury happened in the 3rd Quarter, as his own offensive lineman was pushed into him by Falcons Defensive Lineman John Abraham. Vick had just threw a routine pass to Jeremy Macklin for nine yards when the hit happened.

Vick was taken out of a wild game.

The Falcons came from down by 10 points in the 4th quarter to win the game.

Dunta Robinson Hit Was Not Neccesary

Atlanta Falcons Cornerback Dunta Robinson hit former Cal Bear De Sean Jackson with his helmet in last year’s Falcons / Eagles game. The hit was so hard, both players has to be escorted from the game.

This year, Dunta Robinson did it again, but hit Macklin with his helmet. It was ugly, and Dunta Robinson should be fined and suspended for two games in this blogger’s view.

Mr. Robinson has to understand he can’t do that. The NFL needs to send a message.
