Believe it: Anderson Cooper, Hope Solo May Pose Nude for ESPN, Terrell Pryor To NFL. Read on!
This just in: CNN’s Anderson Cooper is a human and not a humanoid: it’s not so much that he “lost it” in talking about Gerard Depardieu – in fact, Cooper was correct in drawing attention to a matter than, while not involving a politician does focus on a public figure, and here’s the full segment from last night’s Anderson Cooper 360 show:
Say, give to Anderson Cooper for skillfully “losing it” to bring attention to the awful behavior of an actor and director who’s past his prime. For his part, this is what Mr. Depardieu’s friend Edouard Baer said later: “Gerard Depardieu wanted to go to the lavatory,” explained Baer (who co-stars with Depardieu in the movie called Asterix: God Save Britainia, which is currently filmeing in Ireland. “He was barred access. We were not far off taking off, so he urinated in front of everyone. I passed him a small bottle.
He couldn’t wait, so I found this solution. I had a little Evian bottle with me, only it was too small so it overflowed He wanted to clear it up, but the hostess wouldn’t let him.”
All this blogger can say is that’ nasty. In my personal opinion, Gerard Depardieu is one nasty man. Again, Mr. Cooper was brilliant in knowing that his going off script (and I know Anderson knew this was going to happen) would generate buzz, thus drawing attention to an action by Depardieu that would have gone largely ignored by the media.
Bravo, Anderson! Bravo!
Also, bravo to Hope Solo, who has over 690,000 Facebook “likes” was celebrated by In Touch Magazine as a sex symbol, and is reportedly going considering posing nude for ESPN The Magazine, at least according to a Twitter Tweet she issued from her Blackberry, August 9th:
@hopesolo
Being naked outside is very liberating….atleast I hope it will be @ESPN and @ESPNMAG!!! GAMETIME BABY! Ball up! 9 Aug via Twitter for BlackBerry®
Which reads like Hope must have been naked at the time…
One person we will not see naked in ESPN The Magazine is former Ohio State Student and Quarterback Terrell Pryor, who’s set for the NFL, first stop: his former college, and to get a formal letter stating that he’s not eligible for the 2011 NFL Season. And another stop will be an August 22nd Pro Day workout. But if you’ve seen Terrell Pryor working out with Chad Ochocinco and Antonio Brown, it’s obvious that he’s going to be a very good NFL prospect, at the very least.
Check this out:
It also says a lot that the NFL pushed back the date of the NFL Supplemental Draft just for Terrell Pryor.
Stay tuned.
