Mark Dominik’s Silly Teddy Bridgewater NFL Draft Comments Blasted On Twitter

Mark Dominik’s, the former Tampa Bay Bucs GM who’s now an ESPN Analyst, is learning that his silly attempt to join in the cable sports network’s annual devaluing of black quarterbacks is backfiring. His NFL Live comments on former Louisville star QB and top NFL Draft quarterback Teddy Bridgewater were beyond the pale, pointing to what he thinks is, and I’m quoting him, a “skinny frame,” to this totally hilarious upchuck of an idea:

“There were things you saw on tape when you watched him. Something that scouts internally, we talked about it in Tampa with Teddy Bridgewater last year. Is he really the premiere quarterback? I like the young man, I think he’s a quality individual, he’s got character and leadership and those things. But this is a quarterback, and you’re judged by what quarterback you draft, and I think Teddy Bridgewater might not have all the pieces you’re looking for.”

Think about it.

Teddy Bridgewater is the 10th best passer in the nation, six spots higher than Blake Bortles, and two spots below Johnny Manziel.

Moreover, his touchdown to interception ratio of 31 to 4 is second best for 2013.

All of that, and more, and yet Mark Dominik makes that statement. Look at the video, and then you’ll understand the Twitter blast against Mark Dominik’s comments.

And, not talked about at all, is how Mr. Bridgewater totally killed his whiteboard talk with Jon Gruden. You have to watch this:

And here they are, the tweets:

And more.

Teddy Bridgewater’s a great prospect and worthy of being drafted in the first round of the NFL Draft.

Stay tuned.
