The NAB Show 2013 in Las Vegas will be held April 6-11th at the Las Vegas Convention Center. Billed as the “World’s Largest Media and Entertainment Event,” the NAB Show is by the National Association of Broadcasters, and has an 80 year history.
This year, as an IAWTV – International Academy of Web Television – member, I’m happy to pass along the report that IAWTV members get a discount. You get $100 off “SMART Pass or Conference Flex Pass” non-NAB member rates.
Now, if you’re an IAWTV member, chances are you’ve got this in your email box. If you didn’t, check your spam box. And if you’re not an IAWTV member, this is a great reason to join! You can do so by visiting the website here – http://iawtv.org/join-us – and filling out the form and paying $90 dues annually. Folks, it’s worth it.
To digress, you will be part of a growing web television movement. If you’re a video-blogger or web TV show producer or host, no more will you wonder “Where’s my peeps” – they’re here at IAWTV.
Now, back to the NAB Show 2013 Las Vegas.
The highlights for 2013 are, first, that 90,000 people are expected to attend. To put that in perspective, the number makes the NAB Show one of the largest conventions in the World. CES Las Vegas draws just about 30,000 more people, at best. In other words, it’s huge.
Stay tuned for more on NAB Show 2013.
