Zennie62.com (Zennie62blog.com) has been out for 17 hours due to an outage suffered by server host HostGator.
The problem reportedly started with HostGator’s business partner Bluehost, which runs out of Provo Utah, or what is called the “Provo Utah Data Center.”
The resulting problem impacted thousands of websites, and some clients announced via Twitter than they are going to switch services.
Not Zennie62Media.
The reason is that HostGator staff has invested a lot of hours and time in getting this unique blog aggregator to run properly, and in the face of numerous, silly, bot attacks.
But also the time HostGator staff spent to assist was free – normally, it would have cost hundreds, if not thousands of dollars, with another service.
So, I take this time to thank HostGator for getting things back up and running.
