Nick Cannon Twitter tweets another bit of bad health news: he has a blood clot. This is what Nick posted on his radio show website, Cannon’s Countdown With Nick Cannon:
Under doctor’s orders, I have been asked to put my health first and cut back on some of my professional commitments in order to allow my body to get the rest that it needs to keep up with the demands of my multi-tasking schedule.
It has been an absolute pleasure working with CBS Radio and the 92.3 NOW morning show team and I would like to thank them for their unwavering support. I will continue to host my syndicated “Cannon’s Countdown” weekend show and look forward to contributing to 92.3 NOW whenever possible. Even Superman has to sleep.”
And on Wednesday, the host of America’s Got Talent was hospitalized for two blood clots found on his lungs. Remember that Cannon was in the hospital and in serious condition at the start of this year, when his kidneys failed on him. It wasn’t long before Cannon was back to work, but whatever’s going on in his body reared its’ head yet again.
All of this must be hard for his wife Mariah Carrey to deal with, especially if you include the passing of their friend Whitney Houston.
Cannon Must Avoid Another Kidney Problem
According to the website of The Mayo Clinic, blood clots in the area where Cannon had them are generally a sign of potential kidney failure. From what I’m reading, Nick Cannon needs to drink a lot of water – the full eight glasses each day – to flush his system.
If I were Nick, I’d keep a bottle of fresh spring water next to me every day. Drink it. And I’d eat nothing but chicken soup and salads with chicken, spinach and beets.
Stay tuned.
