U.S. Into Syria? Bill Clinton, Step Out Of President Obama’s Way

Facebook

Bill Clinton is much admired by the American Public, but at times he forgets he’s the former President, and not President. President Obama is the current POTUS, and he alone makes the call, and that includes Syria.

This blogger has always been an Obama supporter, and if you want to say I’m a diehard, so bet it. But the bottom line is President Obama is America’s only Washington breakwater against the hawks and spy geeks that populate the town. From that perspective, Barack Obama reflect two truths: 1) that America’s war weary, and 2) that we’re tired of fixing the mess in the Mid East, when we have record under-employment in the U.S.A.

Mr. Clinton, it’s time to do, what you call, arithmetic: there are thousands who have died at the hands of Syria’s President, but millions here in America who have lost jobs, homes, and the overall means to effectively support their family – and then we’ve lost billions in decaying infrastructure.

Syria will have to deal with itself. Heck, I didn’t see America, including John McCain, advocating for intervention in Saddam Hussein’s genocide of Kurds in 1988. By contrast, it’s not as if we haven’t done anything in the Syrian case, but the fact of the matter is, we’re a bit too involved in the Mid East in a visible way – a modern drone strike is a much preferred solution.

Save American lives for America, use the machines for Syria.

And, President Clinton, please get President Obama’s back.

Stay tuned.
