Nicole Kidman And Zac Effron Hit Cannes With ‘Paperboy’

The Cannes Film Festival is just a day away and what’s the Paris Match headline photo? This one you see of Nicole Kidman in Paperboy. The so-called “retro” movie starring Nicole Kidman and Zac Effron with Matthew McConaughey and John Cusack, and plagued by a hard-to-find website (Will studios get their Internet Marketing act together!), debuts at Cannes.

Here’s a scene from Paperboy:

Paperboy is about two journalist brothers, McConaughey and Effron, who investigate a story about a death row inmate, played by Cusack. Kidman plays a woman who writes to inmates like Cusack. The buzz about the film centers around the reportedly racy sex scenes between Kidman and Effron, who told The Hollywood Reporter they were “the highlight of his life.”

Paperboy is produced and directed by Lee Daniels, the Oscar-nominated helmer of Precious, along with Millenium Entertainment, Nu Image Films., and Benaroya Pictures.

Stay tuned.
