Russian Meteor Was Moving At 33,000 MPH Before Crash

The newest report is that the “Russian Meteor” that hit Central Russia, and has become the largest impact episode of its kind since 1908, was moving at 33,000 MPH and is estimated to have been 10-tons in size.

That comes from the Times Mirror. The general word is the meteor’s not at all related to the much-talked about 2012 DA2014 asteroid that’s due to fly over Earth later today, Friday, February 15th.
