Here’s the latest round of updates covering January 13th to January 19th 2014:
Weekday Work (01/13/14 – 01/17/14):
Project Construction Hours of Work: 6:00 AM – 6:00 AM
Western Transit Center Site (Between First and Second Streets): This week between the hours of 6:00 AM and 6:30 PM there will be installation of rebar and electrical equipment, concrete preparation activities, concrete pours, and the rigging and removal of cross lot steel bracing.
On Thursday, January 16 from 7:00 AM to 1:00 PM concrete placement is scheduled in the Western Transit Center site. Two concrete pump trucks will be staged in Natoma Alley during this time. Traffic and pedestrian flaggers will be on 2nd Street during the time of this work.
Throughout the week there will be general construction clean-up, deliveries and maintenance activities between the hours of 3:00 PM and 11:30 PM. We expect this work to have minimal impact to the surrounding neighbors.
This week bulk rebar deliveries and unloading are scheduled for 5:00 AM.
Central Transit Center Site (Between Fremont and First Streets): This week between the hours of 6:00 AM and 6:30 PM there will be installation of rebar, electrical equipment, concrete preparation activities, concrete pours, and the rigging and removal of cross lot steel bracing. Micropile drilling and testing will occur for 24 hours a day between 6:00 AM to 6:00 AM.
Throughout the week there will be general construction clean-up, deliveries and maintenance activities between the hours of 3:00 PM and 11:30 PM. We expect this work to have minimal impact to the surrounding neighbors.

Eastern Transit Center Site (Between Beale and Fremont Streets): This week between the hours of 6:30 AM and 6:30 PM there will be excavation, welding of cross lot steel bracing, and off haul of materials.
Throughout the week there will be general construction and maintenance activities between the hours of 3:00 PM and 11:30 PM. We expect this work to have minimal impact to the surrounding neighbors.
This week bulk rebar deliveries and unloading are scheduled for 5:00 AM.
Mission Street – Hours of Work: 7:30 PM – 5:30 AM
Mission Street (Main Street to Fremont Street): Mission Street traffic may be impacted occasionally during construction of the underground auxiliary water supply system.
The work is scheduled Sunday through Thursday nights between the hours of 7:30 PM to the next morning at 5:30 AM.
This work has been coordinated with MUNI operations and must be performed at night.
Impact tools and cutting of asphalt concrete has been performed in advance due to noise permit requirements. Construction flaggers and SFPD will be assigned during peak hours to assist with traffic and pedestrians.
What to Expect Next Weekend (Saturday 01/18/14 – Sunday 01/19/14):
Western Transit Center Site (Between First and Second Streets): On Saturday, January 18 between 8:00 AM and 4:30 PM there will be installation of rebar and electrical equipment, concrete preparation activities, concrete pours, installation of steel bracing, and the rigging and removal of cross lot steel bracing.
We expect this work to have minimal impact to the surrounding neighbors.
There is no construction work scheduled for Sunday.

There is no construction work scheduled for Sunday.

Fremont Street and First Street (Between Mission and Howard Streets): Fremont Street and First Street traffic will be temporarily detoured on Saturday morning, January 18 between 2:00 AM and 5:00 AM due to the relocation of construction cranes from the Eastern Transit Center site to the Western Transit Center site.
This work has been coordinated with SFMTA and must be performed at night. Construction flaggers and SFPD will be assigned to assist with traffic and pedestrians.
Mission Street (Main Street to Fremont Street): On Sunday night, January 19 between 7:30 PM to the next morning at 5:30 AM underground utility work is scheduled on Mission Street between Main and Beale Street.
Detours, Street and Sidewalk Closures:
Some surrounding streets in the area may be affected, in this instance construction flaggers and SFPD will be assigned to assist drivers and pedestrians during peak hours.
