UPDATE: Man Of Steel Movie Review
The suit had an obvious bulge about the midsection that was just hilarious. So, I took a photo of it on my Mac, and used that to ask Dragon-Con attendees what they thought.
A Dragon-Con Aside
Now that I’ve mentioned Dragon-Con Atlanta, let me say this for someone who may recall that I wrote more than one very harsh blog post about the fact that Ed Winter, Dragon-Con Founder and sadly convicted pedophile, still receives a portion ticket money from Dragon-Con attendees. I discovered that news after a Dragon-Con rep contacted me about applying for 2012 press credentials, then I did on his request, and then was rejected.
I thought it rather weird that an organization would do that, and so I asked what was going on, and the rep complained about my 2011 coverage of Dragon-Con. Well, there was nothing wrong with it, and only with his inability to analyze Dragon-Con media coverage. But then I met a friend in Oakland who attended Dragon-Con and she told me about the Winter issue and speculated that Dragon-Con may be reducing press to protect themselves. So, I hit the ceiling and started blogging about the story. No, I’m not attending Dragon-Con ever again, or until that issue is removed, and new blood is in charge – and even then, I’ll think about it. I also encourage you not to attend Dragon-Con.
Back to the survey.
You Can See His Package!
The funniest reaction in the entire video was from the two women dressed as Batgirl and Harley Quinn, respectively. “Batgirl” let’s out a yell, saying “You can see his package,” and that, as you can see, was not only totally funny, but drew a good crowd in the process.
Her reaction was in contrast with the three women I talked to in the lobby of The Hyatt Regency Atlanta, and who weren’t actually Dragon-Con ticket-buying attendees, but were just walking around, checking out the scene. The time of all of this should be noted, as it was a Saturday, and the same day that Georgia was to play Boise State in The Kickoff Game to start the college football season at The Georgia Dome, nearby. So, what you got was a good mix of cosplayers and lookers all at the Hyatt, and roaming around Downtown Atlanta.
What do I think of the uniform?
Well, then I thought it was silly; now I still think it’s silly, but I’m used to its silliness.
Stay tuned.
