Hope Solo, Sydney Leroux, Alex Morgan, and Abby Wambach were stuck. The US Women’s Soccer Team, in Florida to play Brazil at the Citrus Bowl last Sunday, seemed to be having a great trip, that is until the team bus broke down.
Now it’s not as if they had a fleet of limos they could call on, so local fans were kind enough to give them all rides. Or as Sydney Leroux and Hope Solo put it on Twitter:
Our bus broke down at the stadium. Option A: Hitchhike with fans. Option B: Wait. What do you think we did? pic.twitter.com/ntqwBIVHFp

What happens when your bus breaks down? Just catch a ride from our dedicated fans! @carlilloyd @abbywambach pic.twitter.com/wqPzemy7KI

The result made the day for the girl who’s in the front seat. How awesome is it to have your heroes in the same car your Mom’s driving? That’s a forever moment, if there ever was one!
The U.S. Women’s Soccer Team went on to beat Brazil 4-1 on Sunday.
Stay tuned.
