Oakland Raiders Coliseum Billboard Needs Corporate Sponsor
The “Oakland Raiders” billboard that is over the parking entrance and exit area that holds thousands of cars, carrying thousands more people has a big problem: it reads “Oakland Raiders” and not ‘Corporation XYZ’ which is another way of saying it should have some name of a business that’s a paid sponsor.
That billboard shows that the overall problem at the Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum is one of management and not market. That gate should be sold as a corporate sponsor opportunity. The fact that it reads “Oakland Raiders” means that’s not happening. You can’t say the tiny O.co sign is enough, because you can barely see it, it’s so small, and it’s on just one side of the billboard.
This is just plain bad marketing all the way around. A giant loss of revenue.
