Soldier brings gun to Fayetteville mall for ‘Captain America’ casting call

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. (WNCN) – A Fort Bragg soldier told police he never meant to cause any harm or panic when he went to Cross Creek Mall with a semi-automatic rifle and ammo last week, according to a sworn statement obtained by WNCN.
