Tango Video Calling Growth Focus Of BBC Laura Locke

Tango is not just a dance, but an app that allows you to make video calls via your cell phone. It’s Face Time for those who don’t have an Apple iPhone, even though you can download it for your iPhone. Here’s the video:

Tango’s simplicity, coupled with the desire of millions to share their faces and perhaps other parts of their bodies to each other, has caused hockey-stick growth: it generated a million users just within 10 days of launching its free mobile video-calling service for smartphones over 3G, 4G and Wi-Fi.

And that growth has caused a need for engineers. The BBC’s Laura Locke explains here: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-17991456

Is Tango the next Instagram? Sure looks like it!
