What if you saw someone use telekinetic power in real life? What would you do? sNice Cafe in New York City’s West Village was the testing ground for that question, as the cafe, and one actor, was rigged in such a way that when actress Andrea Morales, who plays “Carrie” in the, for want of a better term simulation, gets pissed over his knocking over her coffee, and then points to him with her hand, he goes flying up the cafe wall.
After he comes down, or is made to come down by “Carrie,” she freaks out some more and the assortment of tables moves away from her as she screams, and books come flying off the shelves.
All of this was for the upcoming movie “Carrie,” a remake of the classic Brian De Palma movie of 1976, and to be released October 18th, and created by the viral marketing specialists at Thinkmodo in New York City.
“People did freak out,” Nora Petroliunas, 29, a manager at ‘sNice cafe on 8th Ave., told the New York Daily News. “It was funny to watch them react.”

Aside from the movie Carrie, the real winners were the cafe sNice in the West Village, which now has an international following. People will want to visit the cafe to see ‘where it happened’ and in the process will discover sNice’s vegetarian and vegan offerings. (And sNice needs to set up its own Twitter account, so people can more easily find it on social media.)
The other winner is the previously unknown actress Andrea Morales, who plays Carrie in the video, but not in the movie. Her Google Trends rating zoomed to 100 because of the Telekinesis Prank. Take a look:
