Terrell Owens Signed By Seattle Seahawks, Lord Gives Second Chance

Facebook

Terrell Owens, an NFL legend at wide receiver who’s career seemed over just because he’s outspoken, was given a one-year contract by the Seattle Seahawks, and a second chance by the Lord.

That’s really the only way to describe what happened to T.O., because there’s no logical reason he should not be playing professional football. Terrell not only keeps himself in world-class athlete condition, he’s never been in any kind of criminal trouble off the field.

Indeed, T.O.’s only problem is he’s a P.B.M.: Proud Black Man. Beyond that, the 38-year-old NFL pro is the top gainer in total yards over the last ten years with 11,176, has the second most receiving yards in NFL history, with 15,934 yards, but needs to play at least another seven years to have a chance of catching Jerry Rice, the NFL’s all time greatest receiver (and former Owens teammate), with 22,895 yards.

Owens thinks highly of himself, expresses that, and that fact seems to bother others, and to the point where seemingly sane NFL owners (and a certain arena football team owner) do stupid things when T.O.’s involved – not like taking advantage of the Internet traffic he generates by the mainstream media’s attention to all of the wrong aspects of his life.

(And on that note, the Seattle Seahawks website has no news on Terrell Owens’ signing, proving that the stupidity that surrounds and infects those who hire Owens continues today. Just plain nuts.)

Stay tuned.
