From Oakland’s Deep East to China’s Far East with EOYDC (Community Voices) – Oakland Local

On July 5, 2014, a group of 14 African-American men departed the East Oakland Youth Development Center (EOYDC), en route to China. As these young men hugged their families goodbye, they left Deep East Oakland for a 14-day stay in the Far East.
