It’s the perfect commercial for the Summer movie Godzilla , due to be released May 16th, and by all accounts on schedule to do so. Legendary describes Godzilla as “An epic rebirth to Toho’s iconic Godzilla, this spectacular adventure, from Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures, pits the world’s most famous monster against malevolent creatures who, bolstered by humanity’s scientific arrogance, threaten our very existence.”
Gareth Edwards is directing Godzilla from a screenplay by Max Borenstein. Legendary Picture’s Thomas Tull and Jon Jashni are producers with Mary Parent and Brian Rogers. Alex Garcia and Patricia Whitcher are serving as executive producers alongside Yoshimitsu Banno and Kenji Okuhira.
Godzilla stars Bryan Cranston, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Elizabeth Olsen, Ken Watanabe, and Juliette Binoche, with David Strathairn.
