Denver opened the year with a 2-1 mark at the Utah Volleyball Classic, and then returned home to Hamilton Gymnasium to sweep the competition in the Denver Classic (3-2 over UC Santa Barbara, 3-0 over McNeese State, and 3-2 over Sacramento State).
