Super Bowl XLVII: Undisciplined 49ers Should Have Worn Suits

The San Francisco 49ers lost to the Baltimore Ravens 34 to 31 in what turned out to be a close Super Bowl. And while Niners fans are depressed…

The simple fact is the San Francisco 49ers lost the Super Bowl because they were undisciplined and that showed from the moment they got off the plane in New Orleans.

Whereas the Baltimore Ravens came dressed for business, the San Francisco 49ers came dressed for rest: sandals, flip-flops, t-shirts, and funny caps and unpressed shirts. They did not come into the venue looking like they were ready for business, and that even showed with SF Head Coach Jim Harbaugh.

The 49ers under Bill Walsh would have never looked like that.

And that carried over into the week, with many stupid comments, and then to the game itself, as the Niners offense looked lost and nervous, where the Ravens had direction and were confident.

And when the Niners realized they were getting their butts kicked, they started fighting and then didn’t start playing until after the power outage was over.

A bad lesson.

Next time Niners, look business-ready.
