Senator Chuck Grassley on VYou.com?

VYou.com is a video social media site designed, from first glance, as a cross between Quora and YouTube, with a little Tout.com thrown in.

In an effort to grown an audience, the new site has drawn the enthusiastic use of Iowa Senator Chuck Grassley, who’s craggy rocked visage can be seen on 116 videos. Including one where he unfairly blasts Nevada Senator Harry Reid for not making a Senate Budget, and makes wild claims about the advantages of a Republican-led Senate, saying it would make tough votes (Geez.). As of this writing, his video I’m about to show has not been challenged, but then I just joined VYou. Here’s Senator Grassley:

But the truth is the Senate did pass a budget last year, and here’s Senator Claire McKaskill on video saying so, and explaining that “The Senate passed a budget last year. I’ve always complained about these budget resolutions because they’re phony-balony. Every year we pass a resolution, and it doesn’t have force of law. And the appropriators completely ignore it.”

See:

She says that for the first time the Senate put its two-year-budget into place and made it the law, with spending caps for two years. And she said that for the first time the appropriators followed it.

Senator McCaskill says the idea that the Senate has not passed its own budget is a political talking point from Fox News.

It looks like Chuck Grassley’s bringing Fox News to VYou.

Time for a Zennie62 rebuttal!

Stay tuned.
