Terrell Owens Interview Just Days Before Release By Allen Wranglers Jon Frankel

Terrell Owens was interviewed by Houston Style Magazine’s Rebecca Briscoe in an interview that was uploaded on May 18th, just days before Allen Wranglers’s owner Jon Frankel elected to release T.O. because he failed to agree to play in an away playoff game for the team, even though Frankel had said that such decisions were “up to” Terrell.

The apparent fact that Rebecca’s attracted to T.O. aside, it was a good 17 minute talk that didn’t seem to reveal any kind of problem he may have had with Frankel or the Allen Wranglers.

Moreover, Mr. Owens addresses the allegations that he’s not a good father to his kids, saying that the comments about him were not true but that he’s going to work to be a better father. From a PR standpoint, he just sent out two messages, one that he’s a good father so there’s no problem, then the other that he needs to be an even better father.

Check it out:

As I said via Twitter to T.O., I’d file a lawsuit against Jon Frankel for breach of contract. T.O. has made his share of mistakes, but look at it this way: he’s never been arrested or in a fight in the locker room. Moreover, Terrell is a six-time NFL Pro Bowl selection who’s excelled with every team he’s played for. What burns me is a kind of “He won’t dance” mentality that’s just plain stupid – Jon Frankel’s the latest to show that mentality.

Really he might be a diva, but in this digital media World, so what? If NFL owners were more on top of media, Owens would still be on someone’s roster.

Stay tuned.
