Brooke Hogan, Dallas Cowboys’ Phil Costa To Marry; Brooke’s Music And Legs

phil-costa-brooke-hogan Brooke Hogan has just disappointed a number of men and some boys by allowing Dallas Cowboys’ center Phil Costa to propose marriage to her. Mr. Costa did this in Las Vegas (whupps) and in front of the Bellagio Fountain.

In taking Brooke Hogan off the market, Phil Costa gets an amazingly talented and arguably quite restless wife. “Happiest moment of my LIFE,” Brooke Hogan wrote on her Instagram page, next to the photo of Costa on one knee in front of the previously mentioned Bellagio Fountain during a trip to Las Vegas. “I am marrying my best friend. I wouldn’t choose anyone else. I am so lucky and so grateful.”

As to the “best friend” note, looks like Brooke’s got more than one best male friend, however…

But, you say Glenn Packard is gay? These days, who cares. She still would have got hitched with him, but it looks like Phil Costa came right out of the blue.

Still, you wonder what happened to the rapper dude Brooke was linked with for a time? Yannique a.k.a Stack$ – with whom she was making a music video in 2009. Plus, he is on her debut album Undiscovered.

What happened between the pair was, according to a rep, they broke up in January of 2010. This is what appeared on the January 27th 2010 edition of The Hollywood Gossip: “Brooke Hogan and Stack$ have split but remain friends. He was a big part of her life for a very long time, and she still cares about him and his family dearly. Brooke would like to thank her fans for their kind words and sensitivity during the breakup.”

And paving the way for Phil Costa.

Brooke’s Music And Legs

Since this is a rather self-indulgent blog post, we have to talk about Brooke’s music career and those legs. As to the music, personally, there are Internet trolls that love to blast MizzHogan, but I have to tell you, I like “Everything To Me” from 2004:

That song hit the Billboard Top 100, but the album it was the main song of, Brooke Hogan: This Voice, was never released. Then, in 2006 and in 2008, she released Undiscovered and Brooke Knows Best, respectively.

Overall, her album sales have not done well. It’s not that she doesn’t have a great voice, she does. But the problem is the music’s not matching her voice. For example, while “Everything To Me” is a nice song, it makes me think of the music sound of Third Eye Blind, but it’s not quite that. I could see Brooke doing very well with a group like Third Eye Blind, rather than solo as she’s done.

Here, it must be noted that Brooke has a new music album coming out, this song called “Get Ya High On” that’s said to be from it, was leaked just six days ago:

Personally, the song is really danceable in a kind of ‘I wanna grind’ way. One thing’s for sure, Brooke’s got the voice, she just needs the right marketing and music vehicle. I’m not sure this one works.

Now, regarding her legs, they can and do stop traffic. In fact, they’re so hot, even her own dad, Hulk Hogan can’t resist Twitter tweeting about them (something that seemed to upset millions when it happened last year). Brooke’s legs are her greatest asset, and yet, as is true for her voice, she’s not created the proper marketing forum for her legs to get noticed.

But, with her marriage to Phil Costa, perhaps that period of her life is all over? I have a feeling she’s just getting started on a new chapter.
