NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell attended the league’s spring meeting at the Ritz-Carlton Buckhead Atlanta. There, Goodell held a press conference on Minnesota winning the Super Bowl LII bid, took questions about the future of the NFL draft, an update on whether the league will conduct HGH tests to players, and he briefly talked about New York Mayor Bill DeBlasio, when he said that the new leader of NYC had not talked with him about the NFL Draft to that date.
We think the draft has a great deal more potential to grow,” Goodell said.
On the expansion of the NFL playoffs Goodell says he anticipates the league will expand its playoff format for the 2015 season.
“I do believe it will be approved for 2015,” Goodell said from the league’s spring meetings. “It will create more excitement, more playoff races.
