Paul Walker Dead In Car Accident In LA. Fast And Furious Actor Was 40

Paul-Walker-in-Car-Race Paul Walker was the famous actor of the popular Fast And Furious movie series with Vin Diesel that, after a bit of a dormant period, gained a new life and was into its sixth incarnation with numbers 7 and 8 on the way.

Mr. Walker, who got his first high-profile acting role in the 1999 movie Varsity Blues, died in what was described as a “fiery” a car accident with one other person identified as Roger Rodas, CEO of Always Evolving, a performance shop for high end vehicles in Los Angeles. According to KHTS Radio and Sgt. Brian Allen of the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station, the pair were traveling at a “very significant rate of speed” and there were skid marks visible at the crash scene. Reportedly Mr. Walker was riding as passenger in a red Porsche GT about 3:30 p.m PST when it, according to many sources, went off the road and slammed into a tree.

Paul Walker was attending a fundraising car show event in Santa Clarita, and for a charity organization he founded (in 2010) and is heavily involved in called Reach Out Worldwide. According to TMZ.com he was there with several of his friends and to raise money for the Philippines Typhoon Relief Effort.

Reach Out Worldwide issued this statement on its Facebook page:

It is with a truly heavy heart that we must confirm that Paul Walker passed away today in a tragic car accident while attending a charity event for Reach Out Worldwide. He was a passenger in a friend’s car, in which both lost their lives. We appreciate your patience as we too are stunned and saddened beyond belief by this news. Thank you for keeping his family and friends in your prayers during this very difficult time. We will do our best to keep you apprised on where to send condolences.

Paul Walker had a bright present and future and was loved by everyone and many say he worked to help disadvantaged kids. He also had that renegade “James Dean” look, according to my mother, who was so broken up by the news she did not want to hear about it.

With Fast And Furious, Paul Walker’s life path seemed laid out for him.

The strange thing is just a few days ago, I was doing research on future Fast And Furious movies and learned, because Walker was quoted, that there would be a Fast And Furious 8.

Fast And Furious 7 is due for release in the Summer of 2014.

Stay tuned.
