Andrew Park For Oakland City Council Dist Two
Andrew Park for Oakland City Council District Two.
I am endorsing Andrew Park for Oakland City Council District Two because, of all of the candidates, Mr. Park connects with people. What I mean is that he has a unique quality of getting people to talk to him.
Moreover he is a husband and father of four kids and because of that Mr Park got involved in District Two community issues before he decided to run for City Council.
That may not make sense to a policy wonk, but it makes all the difference in politics. Andrew started campaigning much earlier than most and has developed a giant ground game. There are many who swear by him and have an infectious zeal for him.
All of the candidates hit all of the policy boxes but the question is who can reach and relate to the District Two electorate? I say it’s Andrew.
My second choice is Kevin Blackburn. Dana King is third.
Kevin is an excellent economic developer and will benefit the District.
I love Dana King but she does not push her involvement in the District. So you have to ask what has she done in it? Andrew has been involved in public safety issues for some time. I can’t say that about Dana.
Abel Guillen is a great person but I am not comfortable with his approach which seems to be more about getting elected than representing the District.
Vote for Andrew Park!
