Tiger Woods Out Of Masters After Microdiscectomy back surgery.
Tiger Woods is out of The Masters after Microdiscectomy surgery for a pinched nerve in his back. This marks the first time he has missed The Masters in 19 years. A Microdiscectomy operation removes bulging disk material so it does not push against the nerve.
The response on Twitter to the news has been supportive:
Sad to say I’m missing the Masters. Thanks to the fans for so many kind wishes. http://t.co/Ofbre9VHEL
