The story is that Pym finds Lang, a master thief in prison, to recruit and train him to steal his Ant-Man suit away from Darren Cross, who wants to mass produce it and make a new kind of soldier. (But what interests me is Pym’s relationship with The Avengers, but that’s another story.)
All have been in Fayetteville to make Ant-Man over the past 10 months, and it’s noted that Marvel Studios and Pinewood Studios staff have ventured over to Frank’s Old Mill for dinner on more than one occasion (they use a private room there, rather than eat in the public areas), according to my sources.
Work on Ant-Man, preparation for Captain America Three (slated to start work this month), Guardians Of The Galaxy 2 (already underway), has changed the social dynamic of life in Fayetteville. It’s just a matter of time before more movie industry businesses, and production companies, and small producers, and YouTubers, set up shop in Fayetteville, GA, transforming the small town 50 miles outside of Atlanta into a small suburb with a diverse, World-class, population. You’ll know it’s completely different when cosplayers have gatherings there!
Exciting stuff! Particularly since some of the young locals currently think Fayetteville is a place to leave rather than a place to stay.
All of that will change in five years.
