Jerry Brown of the Dallas Cowboys is dead because of something he and teammate Josh Brent did that could have been avoided. Brent was drinking and driving, and Brown let him do it.
The incident happened at 2:20 AM Saturday in Irving, Texas. Brent reportedly was speeding, lost control of his car, hit a curb, and “flipped at least twice” according to reports. Brent emerged unharmed, but Brown was killed.
How many times do we have to say “don’t drink and drive.” As one who has DUIs, I can tell you I’d rather get a cab or a limo than drive, and I’m glad I can afford to do it. NFL players make a lot more money than this blogger, so why can’t they just call a limo service, and why did the NFLPA cancel the once widely-available driver service it had for players?
More questions than answers.
Stay tuned.
