Whitney Houston
It is with very great sadness that I report Whitney Houston has died at 48 years of age. I can’t even believe I’m blogging that this actually happened, even though I don’t know what happened. I do know that some one of the people that were part of the reported entourage that was with her when she died at 3:55 PM PDT, know. Someone knows something, and it’s a crying, crying, freaking shame that the truth has not come out as of this writing.

Whitney Houston, for all of her problems and lousy choices in men, was someone that I’d never associate with the idea of death. It never came to my mind.

She was born one year after me, a Leo arrived August 9, 1963. All you have to know about Whitney Houston can be known just listening to one song. Here’s an example: Houston singing the National Anthem at Super Bowl XXV in 1991:

Her rendition is widely regarded as the best in Super Bowl History.

According to Wikipedia, Houston earned “2 Emmy Awards, 6 Grammy Awards, 30 Billboard Music Awards, 22 American Music Awards, among a total of 415 career awards as of 2010.” She was an amazing talent, with what will be considered the greatest singing voice of her time.

Reports Of Her Death And Problems

According to a number of sources, most notably CNN, Houston officially passed at 3:55 PM PDT, and of causes that were not announced. There were a number of conflicting reports on who was with her at the time of death. Black Voices said that Ray J was reportedly with her. CNN picked up on that, and amplified the report with Don Lemon saying that Ray J was “tripping out” about what happened. Then Ray J’s publicist said that he was “no where near” her when she died, and that the “Ray” was her bodyguard and not him.

Then, a representative for the Beverly Hills Hilton Hotel said that there was, and I quote, an “entourage” with her at the time of her death. So that’s why I say that someone knows something about how she passed away, or what caused her to die. That’s what’s so bothersome.

As to her drug problems and financial problems, the Telegraph UK reported that Whitney Houston lost her $100 million fortune, but while she was described as “broke” the news organization said that music executives involved in her new remake of Sparkle had given her enough up-front cash to be OK. Others said she had not kicked her drug habit, but that can’t be confirmed as having anything to do with her death.

Stay tuned.
