Rupert Stadler will discuss future innovation in the automotive industry and its direct impact on the consumer technology market. Amongst other topics, he will focus on Audi´s initiatives in the fields of piloted driving, future mobility concepts and infotainment based upon comprehensive connectivity technologies.

Rupert Stadler is slated to talk at 8:30 p.m. Monday, January 6 in The Cosmopolitan’s Chelsea Theater. Audi Night at CES will immediately follow from 9:30-11:30 p.m. at the Chelsea. This marks the first time a CES keynote has been held at The Cosmopolitan Las Vegas.

The automotive market remains a driving force behind the strength of the global consumer technology industry. In fact, CEA research finds that an increase in sales for in-vehicle electronics will lead to overall sales revenues for factory-installed systems to reach $9.2 billion in 2013.
Rupert Stadler was appointed Chairman of the Board of Management for AUDI AG in January 2007. Since joining AUDI AG in 1990, Stadler has held several positions within the company including Commercial Director for Volkswagen/Audi España SA and Head of the Board of Management’s Office for the Volkswagen Group in 1997. He became a member of the AUDI AG Board in 2003 and was responsible for the company’s financial and organization division.
