Star Trek Into Darkness
Star Trek Into Darkness
Star Trek quite literally did go “into darkness” for Earth Hour in London.

According to Al Caudullo of 3D Entertainment News, Ars Electronica Futurelab and Ascending Technologies, created a Star Trek logo from LED lights flown into air by mini-copters, or drones over The London Bridge.

The Star Trek logo was approximately 308 feet tall, and the mini-copters caused it to hover 118 feet above the ground, and with the highest point being an estimated 426 feet above ground.

Really cool!
