Panasonic HD Camcorders With Wifi At CES 2013 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=slBFQyEH3tg

Aside from TVs and 4K, Camcorders were not forgotten at CES 2013. Panasonic launched a new smaller line of camcorders, the HD HC-X920, V720, and V520, that feature Wifi and connectivity with USTREAM. In other words, you’ll be able to use their camcorders to make livestream shows on your USTREAM account, which is free to establish.

Aside from that, the Panasonic HC X920 camcorder has what you’d expect in a top line device: optical zoom, 1080p video, adjustments for exposure, 20.4-megapixel still image recording and optical image stabilization.

But the WiFi addition is a big deal, and makes Panasonic the latest company to jump on the livestream bandwagon. Sony did it last year with its Sony Bloggie Live series, but this blogger can tell you (as the first one to buy such a product in the Americas, according to Sony reps) it has a huge reliability problem.

If Panasonic’s camcorders can last more than three months, it’s got a great line of offerings for the public. They’re not out yet; wait until spring.

Stay tuned.
