Mitt Romney has joined the political race as another member of the GOP to go up against President Barack Obama in the 2012 elections. In New Hampshire today is where he announced his decision, according to USA Today.

Sarah Palin was also in New Hampshire today, but Romney didn’t let her presence steal his thunder. Palin told reporters that it will be difficult for Romney to appeal to the Tea Party supporters.

New Hampshire citizens were interviewed who had formerly voted for him. They told USA Today:

David and Renee Cope, of Rochester, N.H., voted for Romney in the 2008 primary and are inclined to support him again. “Romney to me seems like a very good businessman, and that’s what we need — someone to run our country like a business,” David Cope said.
